Fourth and fifth graders generally end up grouped together depending on the enrollment for that current season. If the season allows for more classes to be added, then the dancers will be divided by their ability level. NDS is always open and upfront with where your dancer will be placed and continues to evaluate and make changes, if needed, throughout the year!
Combo classes for this age are 90 minutes long and include Tap, Ballet, Acro, and Jazz! This is the age that we begin introducing Jazz and how to implement our tougher skills into the dances more seamlessly. We also begin to work faster and push their level of retaining information quicker and longer; while always working on stage presence even while just in the studio! This combo class is in our end of season spring recitals at least 3 times as well as gets professional pictures in their costumes as seen above and below!
