Nikki began her dance training in 1978 at Kitty Lee Dance Studio based out of Omaha, NE. While in high school, she moved on to instructing young dancers as an assistant teacher from 1989-1993. In 1993, with the help of her former teacher, Kitty, she set her dream in motion and opened her own studio in her hometown of Fort Calhoun, NE. With the studio heading into the 30th anniversary year, Nikki has shared her passion for dance with thousands of young dancers from all around the nearby areas. She is a fifth generation business owner in Washington County who loves to see all kids develop in and out of the studio.

Brielle McCuen, daughter of owner Nikki McCuen, was in her first dance recital in 1998 at just 8 months old! (even though she was just a flower who sat on stage) She has been hooked on dance ever since and has never left. Throughout middle and high school she went on to become a teaching assistant within the studio as well as joining the cheerleading team in Fort Calhoun high school where she was an All-American Cheerleader and performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2013 & 2014. From there, she went on to become a UCA cheerleader and had many opportunities to both judge and choreograph for many teams throughout Nebraska and Iowa; but her home has always been the studio. Though always still teaching, in 2019 she chose to join Nikki in running the dance studio and began the Competition Troupe as well as continued to teach all ages in the recreational classes!
